Chelsea Stadium

Each year, PB hosts an 8v8 football (soccer) tournament at Chelsea Stadium in London for our clients, followed by a reception. As the lead designer, I took the project from initial concepting to the final execution of full-scale graphics. My role involved accommodating stakeholder priorities while designing custom jerseys, scarves, and wayfinding signage to elevate the event experience. The design work not only amplified the tournament atmosphere but also ensured seamless navigation for guests during the reception.

Arsenal Stadium

As the design lead for a high-profile project at Arsenal Stadium in London, I spearheaded the creative process from concept to execution. Taking charge of a talented team, I guided us through the initial concepting phase, where we developed multiple design directions that were presented to stakeholders for their selection. Once the preferred direction was chosen, I led the effort to apply our creative vision to the stadium space, jerseys, and soccer kits ensuring every detail was meticulously crafted for the final event. The result was an immersive and memorable experience that delighted our clients and left a lasting impression on all who attended.

As you scroll you'll see moments from the event itself followed by a snippet of creative working files in Figma where I applied versions of my creative exploration to pictures of deliverable areas within the stadium, and brainstormed a moodboard for my visual approach. Check out a day in the life video on Instagram, too!

Web Summit Conference

This is an exclusive space for 1,600+ investors attending the conference. While this isn't a dedicated space for meeting with startups, they are allowed to meet/bring in startups to meet with. Additionally, they use this space to meet new co-investors, network, relax, work, and eat. For the PitchBook team this is a space to meet prospects, demo our platform, and Customer Success to connect with current clients. We host an "activation area” where we will have daily giveaways like moleskines that we personalize for attendees by monogramming their initials in gold foil. This conference is annual in Lisbon, Portugal. The design is an interpretation of our platform’s Emerging Spaces layout in a physical space. We wanted an interactive wall for attendees to discover more about the industry and what PitchBook can surface. The opposite exterior wall hosted lightboxes where they could discover more about data we hold around AI, agtech, infosec, and mobility tech.

International Women's Day

I had the privilege of leading the design for our International Women's Day campaign, tackling a complex brief that united Marketing, Editorial, and Research teams. As the design lead, I brought together women from these departments to discuss the challenges and 'truths' they face in the finance industry. This insight fueled the creation of multiple visual languages that we pitched to stakeholders, aiming for a look that was both powerful and feminine. Once a direction was chosen, my team and I developed a cohesive set of assets, spanning print and digital formats, for our EMEA and US reports, client events in London and San Francisco, a bookmark as a client gift found inside personalized Moleskine notebooks, event wayfinding signage, a backdrop to an analyst speaking session at each event location, display ads, organic social ads, blog posts, webinars, webinar promotion assets and landing pages. The campaign resonated deeply across the company, and it was incredibly rewarding to see our collective vision come to life with such impact.

Viva Technology Conference

VivaTech is a conference catered primarily to venture capitalists (VCs) and startups, with a significant presence of limited partners (LPs). We were given renderings from our european design agency, Grape, to create a space that was PitchBook and VivaTech cobranded. There were also interesting archways and wayfinding opportunities within the lounge to get extra creative with approach. We had to accommodate a speaking session stage while also integrating a food area, coffee station, meeting tables, and messaging throughout the walls. A good learning opportunity I discovered post-event was to doublecheck the accessibility of text when it's on a tonal color palate. This was the first time I worked with gradients within a space so it was a growth opportunity for me!

PitchBook rebrand

Under the leadership of our Director of Brand and Creative, Erin Crosier, our team embarked on a comprehensive rebrand of PitchBook’s creative look and feel, a monumental project that spanned nearly two years. We dove into PitchBook’s brand history, established in 2007, and conducted competitor audits alongside internal reflections to guide our direction. After extensive deliberations on iteration after iteration with Executive Leadership, we secured approval for our final pitch, introducing a pathway design that championed “A Better Way” in the finance industry.

Every person on the PitchBook Brand and Creative team worked on this beautiful project!

Overcoming workflow challenges report

As part of PitchBook’s campaign to solidify its position as a thought leader in the fundraising, allocation, and benchmarking space, I designed a comprehensive digital guide aimed at LPs, GPs, and LP consultants. The guide promoted PitchBook's innovative Benchmarks experience and Portfolio Forecasting product, showing our expertise in managing investment workflows and lifecycle processes. Designed with a user-friendly approach, the guide not only served to educate and engage industry professionals but also aimed to drive leads and highlight PitchBook as the go-to resource for optimizing investment strategies.

Golf Simulator ft. Michelle Wie West

For our Seattle office, I led the design of a golf simulator that seamlessly integrated with our partnership with pro golfer Michelle Wie West. Collaborating closely with the facilities team, I explored the room's setup and identified customization opportunities. My team and I developed multiple design iterations for both the interior and exterior walls, aligning our new brand look with Michelle Wie West’s influence. The result is a highly regarded space that employees use daily to unwind and an engaging feature for clients and sales teams to connect in a unique and enjoyable way.
